Biaxin or Zith with flagyl and bactrim seemed to help a great deal with mood, memory, energy and sense of normality for me. The flagyl dig produce a major herx with leg muscle aches and stiffness lasting 3 weeks in my case but that was also a major turning point toward wellness.

My usual answer (because it happens to me) .. yeast/candida.

You have to identify and treat all the infections because each one of them can affect your brain. For myself, I got some relief treating borrellia, then the bartonella emerged and caused different problems which I had to get diagnosed and treat.
Finally the babesia and erlichia was found and I am starting treatment for that. I hope this will help with depression and feeling out of it.
I have tried every supplement I ever read about including huperzine, coconut oil, acetyl l carnitine, fish oil etc. I quit abx for a month just to treat yeast and wound up much worse.
Most of us have no idea when we first start treating lyme, just how many infections we have and how serious this is and how long it will take to get it all under control.
I am beginning to believe a person should just treat everything right from the start and not wait for the infection to emerge.
