"I'm very happy to be on Mepron, Zith & Bactrim and have made significant progress in just 9 weeks! My bad days are better than my good days were 2 months ago, so I highly recommend it"

This was written to me in a message today by someone on the board, and I'm sure if they see this thread they'll comment as well. [Smile]

I take those three plus IV doxy.

--------------------
Lyme, Bart, possible Babs
Currently on IV Doxy, Bactrim, Zithromax, Nystatin, Mepron
Been on nearly every antibiotic since 10/09

About 60% improvement. Dizziness, air hunger remain.

Lenire,

That's not my regimen, but someone on this board is taking it with a lot of success.

However, I might be on it very soon [Smile]

Right now I'm on Minocycline, Azithromycin, Bactrim and Rifampin.

But, I may be starting Mepron in early December with Azithromycin, and possibly Bactrim!

Hi Lenire,

I believe I'm the one Wolfed Out is talking about! [Smile] That's my protocol right now. I'll pm the details of my protocol to you as I don't believe we are supposed to give them here.

I know what I'm doing is probably a low dose, esp of mepron, but it seems to be working for me right now. My babesia symptoms were very subtle so maybe that's why I haven't needed more.

Before this I was on Rifampin, Zith, Bactrim DS for 3 months. THat was the second time on that protocol and although it took me the farthest, I always reached a plateau and couldn't get past it.

I started really examining my symptoms, wrote everything down, and was pretty sure Babesia was in the picture.

When I started the mepron protocol, it was amazing how much better I felt almost right away. I know it's not that easy for most people, but again, maybe it's because my symptoms were so subtle.

And I do think starting slow is wise, Lenire.

Hey, thanks, Wolfed Out, for alerting me to this thread! I appreciate it!

No, but I'm not sure lyme is part of my problem anymore. My CD57 is 378.
