Just started taking doxy last night and I dont like it at all.
I woke up this morning with my left ear clogged, anxiety through the roof, feeling completely spaced out. I dont beleive a herx can happen this soon so could I be haveing a bad reaction??

I am only on 100mg twice a day bcause I tried to take it before and only lasted 10 days because of horrible head fog, palpitations and extreme flank pain. so my llmd wanted to ease me back into it.
Sometimes it makes my head so foggy I literally feel as if I am going insane

Just a comparison question, do ya'll think Doxycycline is harder to tolerate than Minocycline? Meaning, does Doxy typically produce more herx reactions?

Hard to say. I think doxy is WAY harder on the stomach, etc than Mino. Mino is hard because it usually causes dizziness at therapeutic levels.
Then it also depends upon what it hits in YOUR body.

- Wolfed Out,
Mino is MUCH more likely to cause problems with vertigo, tinnitus, etc. Many just can't tolerate that but, a few do just fine. -
