I was diagnosed with lyme, bartonella and babesia recently. I am currently taking the following:

omnicef 2x per day
zithromax 1 x per day
rifampin 1 x per day
artemsin 2-3 times per day

Plus I'm also taking Transfer Factor H6 broad spectrum and Transfer Factor Multi-immune. IN addition to vitamins by Researched Nutritionals, probiotics, Vitamin D and whatever else I can fit in during the day! [Smile] Its hard to take all this stuff and fit it in around each other. I'm finding it very challenging!

I'm trying to raise my CD 57. It was 7 last month. My doctor said its the second lowest he's seen.

My question is: has anyone else tried this protocol. I haven't even added a cyst buster yet. Are any of the drugs I'm taking working as a cyst buster too?

I'm generally feeling tired, dizzy, headachy and weak feeling. I don't know if this is due to the antibiotics or what. But the good news is that all my RA symptoms have disappeared since starting this protocol!

Ang,

Welcome. Of course, better to be welcomed as a nice resort than here but I'm sure we all hope we can help you have an easier experience from our having found pitfalls already to steer you around.

Be sure that vitamin D is D3.

I hope you are taking stuff that helps your liver. It may be included in some of your supplements but I'm too tired to scout that out. Liver details are 3/4 of the way down page one of the EAR thread below.

I'm needing to rest now but do want to address the dizziness issue as that's been my main area of study.

VESTIBULAR SYMPTOMS (that often go along with lyme or can be separate)

============================

Zithromax can often cause vertigo and dizziness. GINGER CAPSULES are helpful to offset that and so is liver support.

GINGER: See page 2, near the last of the posts, I think.

LIVER support: page one, 3/4 of the way down.

Specifically for LYME patients - lots of details about ears and what can help:

Thanks for the reply! Yes, I'm taking milk thistle and ALA. Forgot to mention that. Another symptom that's driving me crazy I forgot to mention is my eyes are killing me! They feel tired and sore. Before starting on the lyme protocol, I would get inflammed eyes. I haven't gotten that now for a bit. It would look like pink eye but wasn't. Now they are just tired and sore.

Like your protocol it is a good one covers almost everything just i think you have to treat for cyst form now ore later with flagyl ore similar drug.

Take care

Do you have to treat for cyst form at the same time as treating for the other forms or can you do it later? I was under the impression you should do it simultaneously so the lyme Bb can't hide.
