I was diagnosed with Babesia and possibly Lyme. For over a year I have been experiencing very strange visual symptoms--extreme light sensitivity (even cloudy skies bother me!), floaters, decreased night vision, dry eyes, pressure, and a really strange and scary fogginess and haze that is in my eyes 24-7. I had my eyes examined so many times and they found nothing! Also had 3 MRIs which came back normal.

Do a search for eye problems on LymeNet, you'll see how common it is.
I've read it all, and have major issues with my eyes as well. Eye doctors never find anything.
Double-vision, tunnel vision, trails, static vision, loss of peripheral vision, blue spots, floaters (squiggly lines), blurry vision...
I've had all those at one point.
Some on here suggest trying Mangosteen Juice. I personally haven't had much success with that. I seem to only be able to find things that can make it worse.
Most recently, Licorice root.
But, not to end on a complete negative note, it has improved very very slowly over the past year, and isn't nearly as troubling as it first was. All I can recommend is rest.

It's refreshing to hear that I'm not the only one to experience this! If only those darn doctors could educate themselves about it more so they don't make you think it is all in your head and go on a wild goose chase!!
I will try the Licorice root and Mangosteen Juice--you never know unless you try it!

. . . Eye related problems in LD are commonplace and can include conjunctivitis, ocular myalgias, keratitis, episcleritis, optic neuritis, pars planitis, uveitis, iritis, transient or permanent blindness, temporal arteritis, vitritis and periorbital edema (Jacqueline MS; Ibid).
Horner's syndrome, ocular myasthenia gravis, and an Argyll-Robertson pupil are also reported.
Optic neuritis has been observed to become recurrent or intractable after treatment with steroids. Given the earlier remarks about the detrimental effects of steroids on LD, recidivous optic neuritis may be due to occult LD.
It's nice to see what it's like on You Tube and then purchase for your daily use with your DVD player. You Tube denies him of his rightful due for all his research and work.
The DVD is very affordable - about the cost of one supplement - it's just about $20. and you get a book with it, too. The DVD is also much easier on your eyes - from your TV at a distance. The computer screen is much harder on eyes.
This 1 hour and 15 minute DVD plus 65 page illustrated study guide and eye chart was the surprise hit at the recent New York Yoga Expo and evidently with good reason.
