I finally got tested and got results today. If someone who is well versed in this can help me, I'd appreciate it.
Igenex IGM - Negative CDC/NYS - Negative
IGM - All Negative except:
31 - IND
34 - IND
41 - IND
83-93 - IND
IGENEX IGG - Negative CDC/NYS - Negative
IGG - All negative except
31 - IND
39 - IND
41 - +++
I've read so much on the internet that my head is spinning. The Igenex tests were done because I had some symptoms that were Lyme-esque, but they seemed temporary and have subsided. So, I just need to stop trolling other forums and get some ideas from people who know a lot (ie you!)

A negative test doesn't mean you don't have Lyme, unfortunately, and, as Lyme is an immunosuppressive disease, the sickest patients can be seronegative.
I should add they tested for B. Burgdorferi, which was negative.
My symptoms started the very beginning of late winter/spring.
I was sick with a cold in December, then developed a sinus infection and dizziness. My allergies were out of control, both airborne and food.
In early April, I had a fever for one night, then a nasty cough that wouldnt go away. Horrible anxiety (I'm already prone to it, and lost a dear friend suddenly in August 09 which didnt help anything.)
Mid April, I broke out in a lower extremities rash that lasted a day. I developed either tarsal tunnel or S1 radiculitis referral pins and needles in my foot. I also have cubital tunnel syndrome, dx via EMG & NCV tests. Years on the computer with poor ergonomics.
Beginning of May, I finally went on ABX for the sinus infection that had really progressed into something nasty and needed Abx. The Dr gave me Augmentin 2000 2x a day. I had a lot of muscle and joint pain. I understand this is a common side effect of this dose of Aug, but I also felt like it was possibly a herx. However, after five days, the pain was gone and so was the anxiety for the most part. I have had a slow mental recovery since then, and mourning my friend has slowly become less painful emotionally. I have not been diagnosed with periodontal disease absolutely, though my teeth are horrible and the hygentist is a bit concerned that the bacteria sticks in my gum space. I constantly bleed when I floss, and I have crowns on all but two major molars (which have fillings...ugh.)
Anyway, when my head MRI came back normal, I was relieved and felt like a weight had been lifted. A lot of symptoms seemed to have lessened even more than they already were. So, I don't know what to think.

I assume you're sick, since you ordered the test...
My new doc, an osteo, ordered the test actually. She did it because I told her about what I went through last spring, and she wanted to see if it was Lyme. I no longer felt sick like I did in April/May, though I was worried constantly.

A note about dental health - I found that drinking mangosteen juice does many things, including stopping gum bleeding.
Also that swishing oil around in the mouth for 20 minutes, like sesame or sunflower oil, and then spitting it out, takes away gum pain. Supposedly it's removing fat toxins and lessening biofilms in the mouth.

I have a friend who had a negative ELISA and her doc won't even order a WB because he says she is just depressed... dealing with this today.
Unfortunately, she doesn't have any money to pay for LLMD, IGENEX, or anything else because she has been sick for so long misdiagnosed with some nerve disease causing her pain in her feet... depression, blah, blah, blah.
How can we get doctors to test and treat? I am so frustrated with all the people who can't get treatment for the pain they are in because doctors won't listen!

Bleeding gums and joint/muscle pain can be from a vitamin C deficiency. Vitamin C is also good for the immune system.
Your test is unclear. As mentioned before, you could do a trial run of abx and see what happens. I'd probably try the vitamin C first.

I just thought of this. I once had Vincent's Angina, which is basically a NASTY oral infection that also hosts spirochetes. This was long ago, but it is worth mentioning as it can possibly affect 41.
Definitely go the vitamin C route. I have sodium ascorbate in my cabinet. It's a great detoxifier as well.

You have no positive bands on a WB for Lyme, except for band 41, which most people test positive for. PLUS, that band is found quite commonly in people with periodontal disease, which you have.
Your symptoms are lessening and you feel less sick. I doubt you have Lyme disease.

The things that gave me pause before the Igenex test were the hives, fever, increased nerve compressions, the pain after taking that high dose of augmentin, and mostly, the fact that my anxiety - which I had NEVER had to that degree whatsoever - completely subsided after the abx (which I had to stop due to the pain, Dr thinking it was a common reaction to such a high dose.) Might be psychological but it seemed too coincidental. The sinus infection was pretty bad, with tons of lightheadedness.
I feel so much better than I did 6 months ago. That's the bottom line. I just hope it stays this way, but obviously I am concerned about a lingering disease in my body/mind, not to mention DH and I want more children, you know?
