It looks like I have added Mangosteen juice to my plethora of supplements based on info from my LLMD. It is suppose to be great for you. I'm skeptical, it tastes too good to be healthful.
Does anyone use this? What types of benefits do you personally derive from Mangosteen juice?

I never saw any improvement with mangosteen, and I have tried different brands of both juice and capsules. My LLMD is skeptical of it as well.

I've found only Xango to be helpful. Robin123 swears by Ultra Mangosteen for its help for her vision.
Xango helps me with pain, lowering my CRP, brain fog, vision and fatigue. It's a great anti-inflammatory. I've used it for the past 6 yrs .. going on 7.
Yes, I am a distributor and you don't have to buy a danged thing from me.

We're all different in terms of our response to mangosteen juice in its various juice guises.
The Ultra version works for me - it stops all Lyme eye symptoms, caused my sinuses to clear up, regularizes my intestines, and stops gum bleeding. It has 72 minerals added to it, which hardens my nails. I drink a half ounce twice a day.
I also like the mango-xan version.
Lymetoo loves her Xango!

I bought four bottles of the Ultra Mangosteen that Robin uses. This was a couple years ago. It was on sale at Vitacost, and I ordered enough stuff to get free shipping.
I drank two ounces twice per day. I didn't really notice any improvements after four bottles.
This is not to say that it doesn't help other people. I chose the Ultra Mangosteen juice because they use the pericarp, or outer rind, which has all the good stuff.
Strong antioxidants will help reduce inflammation, among other things.
I know, I know, I should have spent the money on Xango. But paying $10 for a cup of juice just seemed like an awful lot.
I did try the mangosteen capsules, and was unable to tolerate them. I had kidney pain.
I had previously had kidney pain from Resveratrol, also a potent antioxidant.
Those of you who are using Mepron should not take antioxidants, as the Mepron works against Babesia by OXIDIZING it.

My son has been drinking 2 oz - twice a day for a while... he is on his 4th bottle of a case of 4 that a friend had shipped to us.
We never noticed any difference in his symptoms.
That doesn't mean it has not done anything for him... maybe it helps, maybe it doesn't. He is taking tons of supplements and very few of them do we 'notice' a difference.
I haven't decided whether I am going to have him keep taking it.

It does something as I herxed on it. I stopped taking it as I was having such a hard time with just the antibiotics. I have lyme, bart, and babs so don't know which one or maybe all 3 were affected by it.

IF Ultra contains any pericarp it is VERY little. Just look at the COLOR of it. It is NOT red/maroon. The rind of the mangosteen is red/maroon... that is where the pericarp is.
If buying some other brand beside Xango, check the COLOR .. and make sure they aren't putting something else in it to make the color red!!!

Looks like we are all over the map on this. Someone in one of my support groups tried the Ultra and reports it's helping her vision.
