Can Babesia be transmitted by mosquitos or fleas?
Or only by ticks?

I don't know about babesia specifically...
Definitely some of the infections can be. My dog and my son show many of the same symptoms... unfortunately my ex kept the dog when we separated and he did not take good care of her. When I took her back she had fleas and my son had Lyme. A few months later the dog showed the same symptoms as my son. I hear dogs take longer to present symptoms.
Difficulty walking, trouble with foods, nausea, persistent infection - dog is on 3rd long term course of Doxy, pain... sometimes she just whines and won't walk.
I believe Bartonella is transmitted this way for sure.

Toxic mold was suppressing our immune systems, causing extreme pain, brain fog and magnifying symptoms. Four days after moving out, the healing began. Posts: 2007 | From NY/VT Border | Registered: Aug 2010
