I have been under the care of a LLMD who is about 3 hours away from where I live. I have been seeing him once every 8 weeks in his office and has had me an oral antibiotic/antimalarial regimen for about a year now.
I have seen some improvement, but he wants me to try weekly bicillin injections for the next 10 weeks. He wrote a prescription, but when I contacted my local doctor who is part of a regional healthcare organization he was not open to the idea of ordering the injections to be administered locally. He is not a lyme believer and said he cannot in good conscience be involved in something that was "experimental" and most likely will be detrimental to my health.
The question now becomes what do I do? Do I start calling local doctors and try to find someone who will administer the injections which have been prescribed to me by my LLMD. I suppose I could travel the 6 hours round trip to his office weekly, but that will be extremely difficult on me.
Any suggestions or advice? Thanks.

I'd go with your first idea- find another GP. I had to do that with Bicillin when I did them for a brief while and it worked out great b/c the nurse who ended up doing it had a LOT of experience with injections on infants too, so as an adult I felt I was in very good hands w/her; she was indeed quite awesome.

Have a family member or friend learn how to do it. It needs to be done right, but my husband gave me them for 14 months. You can order them.and have them shipped or even cvs dispensed them to me. I would also ask for.an epipen to have on hand. Just get a rx from llmd. Pm me if you need help.

Thank you all for the recommendations. It is just amazing to me that no local healthcare organizations want to help me with this. I have a prescription from a respected medical doctor to receive penicillin injections and you might think I was looking to scam someone into giving me narcotics with the reactions I have been getting.
I have tried my GP, several other doctors in the area, allergists (on the recommendation of my LLMD office), the VNA and not one I think even took me seriously.
Are the injections something I can get from a pharmacy with a prescription? I just don't know what to do, maybe I should just look for another form of treatment?
All I know is that it has been about a month since I stopped taking antibiotics and I am really starting to slide backward, I feel like a train ran over me, and I am starting to get dizzy and light-headed. I literally layed on the couch all weekend in pain, this just stinks.
