Yes, this is the secondary rash of chronic Lyme. Mine was misdiagnosed as ringworm. Since I've started treatment 2 1/2 years ago, I've developed a rash at least 3 times. The ones I got while treating were quite spectacular looking, covering a huge area on my leg, kinda like very ragged overlapping ovals with expanding borders that would disappear over the course of a couple weeks.

I believe I've had Lyme since birth, and I am 62.

Sick since at least age 6, now 67. Decades of misdiagnosis. Numerous arthritic, neuro, psych, vision, cardiac symptoms. Been treating for 7 years, incl 8 mos on IV. Bart was missed so now treating that.

Yes... I've heard of it happening fairly often. Always amazes me!

So I just have had this too. Large rash, in like a half circle, but not really looking like ringworm. It is in the site that I could have had a bug bite years ago.

My LLMD gave me antifungal cream... hm...

So, does your's itch too? I'm feeling soooo much better these days and then this appeared.

--------------------
Lyme, Babs, Fry Bug..... Whatever it is, may a treatment be discovered to make us all whole again!
