OK, I am currently on day 5 of the clindamycin/quinine 10 day "test" if you will, and I really, do NOT think I have babesia. I would know if I did right? My only real symptoms are muscle aches and twitches, and some fatigue.

I have had bad diarrhea for a couple of days and I don't think I can take it anymore. We are talking 10 + stools a day. I think it is from (what I have been reading) the clindamycin. Should I stop this therapy since I don't think I have Bab's in the first place? I just don't see the point...also had bad tinnitus yesterday.

You better be careful of C-Diff. I hope you're aware of the risks. Clindamycin is the #1 offender Abx. You need to call your LLMD ASAP to inform them of your condition. You may now have bigger issues than a 'test'. [Frown]

Well I stopped the abx and the next day it completely went away. Must have been the clinda. I don't think I am going to ever try that combo again. I hear there is another combo for babs that is easier to tolerate, I may try that as a "test" in the near future but not this clinda/quinine mix.
