Hey everyone.
I have a lot of anxiety and have some crazy, crazy negative and depressing thoughts and realize I need to see a psychologist/psychiatrist.
When I got very ill in the beginning (2007), I saw a psychologist, but she was not lyme literate. I feel like I need someone now who is lyme literate who will understand better where I am coming from and what I'm going through.
Does anyone here see a psychologist who is lyme literate? How have they helped you? And can you suggest one in the Maryland area?
Thank you so much!

apljack - I may not find one... LOL. Doesn't look like anyone here will be helpful. I will probably have to ask my LLMD if he knows of any around this area.

The closest one to Maryland is in Holland, PA. About a 3 hour drive from Baltimore.
Call the office. I understand they will be very helpful over the phone to those who have lyme and are calling for help and an appointment. One lady got lots of great advice and reassurance regarding her young daughter.

Thanks TF. I was hoping there was someone a LOT closer to my area than 3 or 4 hours away. :-( Might just have to go with a regular therapist.
