I am planning on starting zithromax and Bactrim after christmas, maybe also pulse tindamax as I have some left, I'm just wondering what was the dosage your doc prescribed and if 1g zith/day with bactrim twice a day (and maybe tindamax every three or four days) would be too much? How slowly did you ramp up? Thanks again for your great help, this website is just wonderful and keeps me a alive.

I hope you get answers now.
As far as zith, I couldn't handle it. It gave me too much of a cytokine response. My LLMD wanted me on 500 mg per day. I couldn't even handle taking that for 3 days on, 4 days off.

Hey, Six posted doses and she's one of the big dogs on the Lymenet forum! I'm just following her lead. I'm not on that protocol anymore anyways and it's just one drug, not a protocol.

I'm currently taking 250mg Azithromycin and 2 Bactrim DS tablets daily. Might seem low, but I'm also taking 600mg Rifampin and 100mg Minocycline daily as well.
