I tested positive for HHV-6 about 10 months ago and have had it rechecked twice. It continues to go up.

I'm concerned about this, but my Dr's don't seem to be.

I have been given Valtrex but I don't think that helps HHV-6.

What are you taking for it? Does anyone else notice that their results for HHV-6 are going up also?

I just read the post called "Olive Leaf Extract- Amazing" and HHV-6 was mentioned. You should read it.

I take OLE as well as immunovir-it's made in Canada and is prescription. A little easier on the body than valcyte.

What are your different test results?

Valcyte is often used against HHV-6.

Best, Timaca

Thank you for your replies.

I just read the OLE - Amazing thread. Very interesting. I have some OLE here that is Nature's Way brand that I haven't tried yet. Time to break it out and give it a shot!

I have been reading a lot about Valcyte and it really scares me. At the same time, it bothers me that my Dr's don't seem concerned about my #'s.

It just seems to me at this point, my #'s should be dropping, not increasing.

I was on Valtrex over the summer and it helped a great deal, even though I know it's not supposed to help HHV6, it did do something.

I just got a new prescription for Valtrex, but have not filled it yet. Does anyone know if you can take Valtrex and OLE?

I've always been told that Park East is the best and most potent brand of OLE. This site usually has the best prices:

I was taking OLE but couldn't tolerate more than one pill. I'm taking the brand that was recommended here on a OLE thread.

I was also doing an herbal parasite cleanse so I'm going to try it again.

It gets viruses, bacteria, parasites and just about everything!
