Ok so I believe im going thru my monthly herx right now. lots of muscle twitching and this all over "cold" feeling. I just feel so cold all over its weird. but my temperature is the best its been so far during all of this. a few months ago my temp was below normal. around 96 alot. now its 97.9-98.5

so I guess I'm trying to ask. Is feeling really cold a herx symptom? I know I sweat during the night when I herx but this really cold feel is something new. im getting my typical herxing muscle twitches too

^ Good to know I'm not alone [Smile] its funny because before lyme disease I used to always run warm. alot of times id complain of being warm and sweating. Its weird having it become the total opposite problem now im like OOH IM COLD. even if the slightest draft comes by. weird....

I also feel cold, all the time. It seemed to start with the cooler weather. I have normal body temp. but feel cold sitting in a 72 degree house. It is weird & I also used to tend to run warm.
I have been in treatment 16 months. Currently taking:

ABX: Rifampin 600 mg, Tindamax 500 mg, Azithromycin 500 mg.

Supps: Grapefruit Seed Extract, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Magnesium Gluconate, & Probiotic.

I get cold spells too. It's like a switch is turned on and I am freezing. My eyeballs are freezing along with hands even with gloves on. And feet with socks & slippers and nose very extremely cold. My house temp is 70 degrees. But my hubby doesn't even get cold without a shirt on. Here I am all bundled up inside 70 degree house frozen.

I used to hate hot (MS) - couldn't take hot shower,

avoid sun....So I am enjoying this change in body

temp. for the most part except when I'm freezing in

home and can't get warm even with lots of blankets.

I have hot flashes to look forward to in next few

years [Frown]

I feel cold a lot, right now I just started a detox using Heel homeo herbs and it seems to be making it worse. My LLMD says to take my Armor thyroid and to remeber to take it and that should help make me feel less cold...so not sure if that helps. But I feel your pain.
