Good Afternoon,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with what i should be taking with tetracycline?

I tried reading Dr B's guidelines but it's a lot to swallow for a neuro like myself.

After a 2 year remission period i became symptomatic again after a recent illness. Went to my regular Dr today and got her to prescribe what my LLMD did for me that seemed to work (Tetra)

I wanted to start some course of treatment while waiting for my LLMD to return my call and get me an appointment (long time, very frustrating)

i bought some probiotics which i remember taking last time but anything else?

if you'd rather send me a message that's fine too

thank you for the help

kevin

I'm not good at drug combos.. bringing this to the top!

Definitely get some good probiotics .. and a really good LLMD. Not many use tetracycline.

Excellent probiotics:

As far as meds, I've used mepron and fluconazole with tetracycline. Tetra may work better than Doxy for some.

As far as supps, there are plenty of threads in the archives. Mag, fish oil, b vitamins, etc....I like taking higher dose D (2000-3000 IUs/day)...good quality protein drinks/shakes...bolster the basics...

Make sure iron status is OK too...

Before my daughter started her abx regimen, we were told to start with Olive Leaf extract and Grapefruit seed extract. B vitamins as well.. I think adding flagyl to the tetracycline would be a good start as well.

Magnesium should also be incorporated and eventually Milk thistle for liver support.
