I have a new symptom after starting Doxy. It feels like the whole body is vibrating or shaking with a rhythm, like there is a clock ticking in every part of the body. I can also feel heartbeat-like feeling everywhere. Has anyone have similar feeling?
Thanks.
Jason

I have had this a while back. I thought there was an earthquake going on. internal vibrations are no fun. Maybe check thyroid and adrenals too

I had this for the past year before being diagnosed. Sucks! Mine has slowly gone away. I think its just due to the infection. Whether Lyme, Bart, Babs I don't know since Im not sure what I have exactly. Do you have anxiety? The vibrating always made me feel like I was anxious or my nerves were on edge.

Yes, I definitely experience this. Sometimes for me it increases into externally viewable tremors, but the internal vibration feeling is almost always there.
I'm sorry you are struggling with this -- it can certainly feel destabilizing.

You might want to google Electrosensitivity or Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity...basically, an allergy to wireless technology. No antibiotic yet has touched this symptom in me, so I'm reluctant to blame it on the bugs alone...

Jason, it has nothing to do with anxiety. And it is ok that you are worried. It is not in your head but exactly where you feel it.
I think it is from bacteria, viruses or parasites. And I think it is inflammation in the blood vessels ...
Doxy is ok, start on low dose and go to 200 mg a day ( I had to start with 5 mg). Then you can add azithromycin - it will probably get a lot worse. Read cpnhelp.org as it could be the treatment for your problem.

zell; i think the vibration is from very active stomach enzymes, which doxy acts on, it's good that means your immune system is starting to work, it will subsied eventually don't get too scared from it..w

I have had this electrical sensation through my chest, I thought it was heart but now think its definatley the little bugs & maybe damage to nerves. This does come and go but have not had this symptom for a while. Anxiety is an issue too but this too shall pass! Just a part of this disease.
