after 2 wks of a terrible flair of intestinal and stomach pain which as right now i feel like someone has scappred the inside of my intestines,i am having a flair with my back and for the second time my husband and i feel tiny pea size nodules in between the vertebras.what the hell is that!the only thing i could find were cysts that happen after viruses and bacteria. hmmmm.anyways going to the primary tomorrow to have him feel them.i started plaquenin today and not biaxin because of the current state of my intestines.i never know if it is yeast, colitis parasites, cdiff lyme etc etc.i do not think that those stool cults are accurate.i have tested negative mult times and finally my husband helping me into the gastro office i was admitted and told i had a very elevated stool cell count?they did not know what it was and i do not want to go through that again.although it feeling pretty close.i wonder if it actually the lyme burrowing into my intestines sometimes.oh yeah,i can tell when my stomach is bad because i get this horrible weakness and aching feeling in my legs.pray this plaquinil helps me.i wonder if this will ever stop for me.thanks for reading.

i am takin culturell 2xday and pb82x day and i cup of kefir.i try to stay away from the sugars and am very good about white food.i was on diflucan and nystatin but the diflucan was not working as well so they swtiched me to sporonix.i have also had multiple procedures which put you at higher risk of resistant yeast thats we are doing sporonix.i would hope all of this would keep yeast at least at bay so i am thinking something else is inflamming my gut.i also have udo superior probiotic but i would always get stomach and gas with it .i am fearfull of sachh boulardi because of my rxn to yeast but am getting ready to try it.i honestly think i had lyme for so long that other bacteria or parasite are playing a role.i was just looking of filaria worms because someone here mentions them and to even test for them you have to have special blood work with smears.when the hell do you go to the doctor and they do blood work with smears. my stomach hurts so bad i am afraid to do any parasite cleansing yet.i am wondering if plaquenil will have any effect on my stomach.can someone tell me how to put spaces inbetween my posts.

anjiell if you suspect Filaria or have morgellons a LLMD will just treat.
Some studies have found them in 60% of ticks.
For spacing type what you want. Then hit (enter)
For however you need---too much hit backspace.

Especially the Theralac in your case. I've never been impressed by Culturelle or PB8. I think PB8 is pretty worthless and is a very low count of CFU's.

AHhhh I have the same leg pain (though mine feels like severe nerve pain) and weakness when my GI symptoms flare. I dont have any answers for you.. but its interesting to me that you have these symptoms together like me. Mine is also generally followed or preceded by a killer headache.

Ask your doc about SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth). There is a test for this.
SIBO is a cause of IBS which as you might know can cause debilitating symptoms like severe abdominal pain. Treatment is with rifaximin which we just started.
We have been through hell and back with GI symptoms--especially abdominal pain. We've done EVERY GI test out there.
Ask your doc about 5HTP and Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate. These supps have helped tremendously.
Also make sure that you are taking ample amounts of magnesium (oxide) and vit C (ascorbic acid) to avoid constipation.
And go on a gluten-free diet.
Good luck----I know firsthand how frustrating and painful and difficult this is. Hang in there.

I was treated for supposed SIBO and ended up with a very severe case of yeast due to this stupid treatment! He didn't even test me for SIBO, just gave me the Rifaximin. Then when I got yeast, he told me there is no such thing. I'm changing drs as soon as I can find one! (GI)
anjie.. The Renew Life is probably good. Theralac is awesome. No worries.
(maybe what you read was about Threelac instead??)
If you have good insurance, get the VSL#3 in the double strength. It's a prescription. I pay $80 for a 3 month supply.
