I have 20+ year chronic Lyme and last year I had thyroid cancer and a thyroidectomy. One comment from a pseudo-medical professional was "no wonder you got cancer, your adrenals were stressed for so long." I'm not sure I believe in a correlation, though.

I personally believe that chronic Lyme and chronic adrenal issues are just offshoots of an even bigger problem...
