What coinfection or is it lyme that causes depression.? feelings of hopelessness of never getting better.??? I also have Hashimoto Thyroid so thats a double whammy that can also cause depression....

Maybe not in by some chemical mechanism, but give me any ailment for 8 months and i'm going to be depressed.

Babesia causes depression. It is a feeling of complete despair as if there is no point to anything. Rowlings describes depression in Harry Potter with the "dementors" .
Some people do not experience typical babesia symptoms such as fever and sweats. I didn't but I tested positive for it and now it is so obvious.
