My LLMD suggested I take on a gluten-free diet...I've been gluten-free for three weeks. I also switched abx, and started taking Doxy and pulsing flagyl at the same time as starting diet.
For the past week I've been feeling terrible in the mornings with muscle aches, headaches, and have heightened joint pain in my wrists, hips, and knees. I also have chest/throat soreness and tightness-like I'm getting a chest cold, but nothing really has developed.
I was hoping I'd feel better going gluten-free, and I thought it would take more time to feel a difference anyway.
Am I just having a herx? Any good detox advice or thoughts about this? I do take Burbur and have thought about lymphatic massage...Thanks!

I've been Gluten free almost a year. after a few months I felt much healthier. not cured, just healthier. I dropped a lot of weight from it too. I think avoiding flour and sugar is a good health policy for anyone.....
