I took neurontin while on doxy with no issues. I did have trouble tolerating the neurontin (got cold symptoms and felt weird in the head) but this was not a reaction between the 2 meds just me reacting to the neurontin.

I was given a very low dose of neurontin just to help with nerve pain and could not keep taking it. The other side is there are folks who take 1000's of mg's a day with no problem and will tell you it's the best thing since sliced bread.

Drugs.com (there are a few other good sites as well) will give you a list of side effects, drug interactions, and dosing information, ect.

Only you can decide if it's something you are willing to try. Is your neuro doc treating your lyme or do you have a good LLMD?
