I have been experiencing this "jumping" feeling inside my body, like my nerves are jumping. Any time my heater clicks on or off, a door closes anywhere in the house, even some music.

Are my nerves just shot and unable to handle the noise or what?

I use to have that so bad. My hubby would cough in the other end of the house and I would feel like an electrical current ran through my body.

It felt like nerves, but not sure the technical reason. I think my brain was easily over stimulated. Could have been my adrenals. Anyway, it has gotten better with lyme treatment.

I have an extreme case of this. When I was at the clinic laying on the acupuncture table someone dropped something outside in the hall and I literally felt the vibrations go through the floor, up the legs of the table and into my body!

Every sound, every vibration I pick up and "feel". Some are more jolting than others, seems to depend on the wavelength.

Short duration, high pitched are more jolting for me and can throw my neck back and arms up in the air.

What causes this? I certainly feel crazy and that my nervous system is naked and raw.

It could be anxiety related. More mag may help a little. This symptom has been stubborn for me as well.

I've got this problem too. Seems to come and go for me. I always chalked it up to a maxed-out nervous system. Nice idea -- the extra mag. I'm gonna try that.

This was one of the first things I ever noticed. Mine comes on stronger if I'm feeling nervous or get anxious. It can happen with nervous thoughts or when something loud excites me.

I get the tingling all the way into my head.

It has gotten better with treatment as well, and I think Bactrim may have been the most help.

St Johns Wort
B-12
Magnesium

^^^ Help repair nerve damage

Some of yalls experiences sound more like adrenal (fight or flight) response than actual nerve damage.

Wolfed- Oh i get the tingling too with excitement.. whole body. I thought that everybody got that.

Its not so much that I feel vibrations but that my insides "jump". You can imagine what happens when I am actually startled/scared!

The B-12 actually makes a lot of sense. I might need to go back on shots...I am getting it in an IV each week, if not twice. I'll have to try that!
