I thought that some of you might find this interesting.

Is a newly discovered virus behind the development of cancer and multiple sclerosis?

It seems as though we may be able to add TTV to an already long list of chronic infections that are potentially playing a role in the development of chronic disease.

I think I wrote this before, so bear with me:

My LLMD has treated thousands of lyme patients from around the world. Before he began his lyme research he was involved with early AIDS research and treatment.

He said that NOT ONE of his lyme patients on antibiotic therapy got cancer. The odds of that are impossible....unless, as he is convinced, those little tiny tumors begin from bacteria. He said that it takes 7 years for a tumor to grow large enough to be detected by an oncologist.

DOCTOR: "I don't think you are sick."
PATIENT: "We are all entitled to our opinions. I don't think you are a doctor."

I am pretty sure cancer starts from bacteria, however, we ALL live with cancer, the major problem is when the immune system gets weak, cancer cells gather together and start growing, thus tumours, and yes it takes billions of those cells to make a tumour that is detectable, thus it takes between 7 to 12 years for cancer to be diagnosed, but the processed starts years before...
HOWEVER, I also read that people with Multiple sclerosis do NOT develop cancer... so could it be that the bacteria takes different possible paths and if it adopts one, it doesn't go the other way?... like when you have H pylori, if you have stomach ulcer, chances are you will never have stomach cancer?...

Another thought I am having as to why us lymies may not develop cancer is the over production many of have of T lymphocites, thus the swollen glands and lymphatic system... any idea if this may have a link?...

When I developed cancer is subject to debate, but I had been on abx for over 3 years before my LLMD discovered nodules on my thyroid.
