My LLMD HIGHLY recommends this test and asked that I do it. He thinks it is the most sensitive PCR test available, developed by a group of young, smart guys. Apparently (from what I've read online) Dr. Cowden thinks this is the best test on the market.
The other reviews of this lab online have been quite good, and it doesn't have some of the controversy of Igenex. You may also want to check out betterhealthguy.com, where Scott Forgsen (hope I got that spelling right) describes his experiences with and thoughts about the test.
I just had the test done -- while on antibiotics, which increases the risks of false negatives. I had been a bit skeptical of my Igenex positives due to some of the controversy. With SpiroStat, I am positive for Lyme DNA. The test results have removed my skepticism and make me that much more committed to treatment.

If I recall, it was $600 for all the organisms, including Babs.

The first time I used IGENX. They are very highly trained.I paid $400.00 in 2000. IGENX Makes sure they reveive what we sent.
I've learned our mere little blood sample should not involve temperature changes in transit. I have no Idea how it happens and the results? Well Im not sure I ever know.
Well I must tell you the truth. Why? Because it stays the same. And I can't change it. Just like the past. I paid $150.00 in 2007. I changed this because it read as though I had a Q-RiBb Test and using the foundation listed. Which I did not do. I will ALSO CHECK TO SEE WHERE THE Q-RBb IS ACCEPTED
I"ve looking into the LymeinducedAutismfoundation.com Because of the sudden highest increase of Autism in less than a year. And THE Childrens Future.
I've been blessed since the I found Lymenet nothing short of many Miracles have happened here.
This is where I can rely on so many understanding caring people. Lymenet is a Safe Bet..................................
