Just bumping this up for now, as I recently had a colonoscopy.
Any articles on bartonella and this condition?

Diverticulosis is caused by chronic dysmotility in the colon. Yes, Bartonella can be one cause of this.
A high fiber diet is good for those with diverticulosis (be careful with nuts/seeds - grind them up in a coffee grinder or blender first before eating them), as is coconut oil (coconut oil contains short-chain fatty acids that help nourish and heal the lining of the colon).
Omega-3 fatty acids (Fish Oil) are also excellent to help combat inflammation.
"Bell's Palsy of the Gut" mentions that Lyme/co's can cause megacolon. Megacolon is the end result of severe, chronic constipation. Because Diverticulosis also is a consequence of severe constipation, it stands to reason that Lyme/co's can cause diverticulosis also.
