I just started 300 mg of IV doxy daily...anyone experience any side effects that I should be aware of?
Thanks.

My husband did fine on IV doxy, which he did for about 8 weeks after a course of IV Rocephin. As your LLMD has probably told you, you have to infuse at a relatively slow rate since IV Doxy is potentially caustic.
My one piece of advice is to make sure you keep your minerals up.
We had one scary incident during which my husband had one-sided numbness for about 15 minutes. We were afraid it was a stroke. Thankfully it was quickly self-limiting. His LLMD said that it was probably due to deficient minerals. We restarted the Doxy with some trepidation, and it never recurred.
So, I don't want to scare you--other than that, he tolerated the Doxy well, and it was helpful, especially for cognitive symptoms--just want to alert you.
Best wishes with your protocol. IV was a very significant piece of therapy for my husband.

I am on my third day of doxy and I am having much more brain fog, feeling a little loopy and now have a constant 24/7 dull headache that I didn't have prior to starting the IV doxy!
Thoughts anyone?
