LLMD took me off of Doxy because it was really doing a number on my stomach, plus it wasn't really doing anything for me anymore.
Well, last night a few hours after taking it, I started feeling really weird---tired in the worst way, achy, and kind of spacey.
This morning, I feel loopy and tired again, and I feel like I'm having heart issues (although my pulse is fine, no palps or anything). Also some low grade anxiety.
I'm trying to remember how I felt when I took this about 3 years ago, pre-lyme diagnosis, but after beginning sx.
I know I had some serious depersonalization issues and felt like I was having an out of body experience, and that went into a panic attack and feeling like I was having a heart attack.
Wondering if I'm just reacting to the Ceftin or what. I'm supposed to be doing it twice a day, but I'm starting off on once a day till I figure out what's what.

Hum.... interesting. Dr. was going to give me Ceftin and I asked for Doxy because it's free from Giant Eagle.
Now, did you take it on empty stomach. Although Pharmacy told me it's better that way, you still can take something, but NO dairy.
I had only been on 100mg. a day of Doxy. I have experience some relief actually. Now that I'm off she wants to retest (?) and if pos; IV.
Confused because I know that tests are not accurate.
I wish you the best. I, also, had funny feelings with my heart. I got kinda scared one night. I believe it's a little anxiety.
Say a little prayer and I promise you'll feel better, works every time.

Ceftin and Biaxin did me the same way. No it wasn't a herx it was some type of reaction. I will never touch those two drugs again. Oh, if you can't take these be careful with zithromax as it did me the same way. So far clindamycin is the only drug that in small doses I might be able to tolerate.
Waiting to see a doc on Tues. My first since I was dx by my gp.. We shall see.
I am so scared to make the long trip due to me feeling so bad and my anxiety/agoraphobia..
Seems we are doomed if we do and certainly doomed if we don't..
Good Luck, phyl
