I remember someone saying they use this to help with detox. I have no meds currently. Former Dr. J pt. been doin pretty good for about 2 years can't seem to do anything active or beyond my day and even then very tired and need lots and lots of sleep and rest. I found some of the gold alka selzer today and bought both boxes they had so if someone knows how to use it or has any other suggestions I would be grateful.
Thank you

This is used to help when you are herxing. From what I understand, it should only be taken one to three times a day for one to two days when herxing.

Have you considered contacting your Lyme doctor?

I agree...sounds like you may need to get back to your MD. You'll be squirting in the wind with just the Gold...

Not sure about herxing but it is good for food allergies and multiple chemical sensitivities especially when they cause anxiety. Not sure why..

I don't know how it works, but it can lessen the severity of herx. Just don't take it more than previously posted.

This was given to us by a friend who was directed by their LLMD in NC I believe. It seems to help him, nothing prescriptions but you may have to have your pharmacy order you in Alka Seltzer Gold, it has to be the Gold. Or you can order it off of amazon.com

In regard to the Alka-Seltzer Gold, try to use when experiencing a Herxheimer reaction or flair as follows: For use only when experiencing a Herxheimer reaction(s) or flair(s): Alka-Selzer Gold in 8 ounces of water with fresh lemon or lime juice, up to four times per day. Add four teaspoons of Glutathione, a powerful antioxidant. Add to or follow by 4 ounces of Pom, pomegranate juice, and hydrate with water.

The key solution to a polluted body is Alkalization and Dilution. In order to help our bodies detoxify, we must drink more water. You do not want to use the Alka-seltzer Gold more than four times a day due to altering the GI ph balance.

I found this very interesting and plan to run it by our LLMD this week! Hope it helps these questions.

For me ASG is a life saver when I'm having a bad flair. I take up to 4 packets a day, but usually 2, and only when I'm flairing.

It's important not to use the "Plus". Sometimes hard to find in your local pharmacy. Someone posted about getting in on Amazon. They always have it. And I never let myself run out. My 8 year old takes it as well because he knows it will clear his brain fog in a matter of minutes.

I only drop the tablets in about 4 ounces of water. For me it's like a miracle. Probably reduces some of my symptoms in a very short time.

I've also found that SyDetox works really well too. I take 15 drops QID in a little water.

Usually makes me have to go to the bathroom in the afternoon and I feel immediately better. And I'm a regular guy... I have no problems in that area.

It was explained to me that it neutralizes cytokines. And it's the cytokines that make us feel like crap. Our bodies can create a cytokine storm in the presence enough pathogen load.

If you can get some today, try to get it. I can't say it will help you, but it's worth a try. For lot's of folks it really does work.
