Last friday my wife went to LLMD and got a prescription for Mepron, BActrimdS, Ceftin and Probenecid. She should take all twice a day except BactrimDS.

She started these on Friday night and woke up on Saturday morning and told me this.
1. She did not feel super hot at night.2. She is mildly depresed & irritated.
Yesterday she took and today morning she said that she did not wake up till morning 6.

IS this a positive sign? Or do we need to wait for the herx to occur?

not sure, from what i understand everyone reacts to meds differently, just like lyme and co-infections affect everyones very different body systems VERY differently!

not all people will herx. it could mean your wife is good at detoxing and her body can effectively rid itself of the die off.

or it could mean that the meds have yet to hit the bacteria to cause a die off. in which case your doc might change the meds.

these would be important questions for your doctor.
