I'm aware it is used mostly as a digestive enzyme. But I take it on empty stomach to help digest tapeworms and other parasites & now I'm curious if it potentially has effects on biofilms.
Thanks

Not sure if the things you listed will dissolve biofilm or not but..... VitK, Rechts Regulat, and phospholipids can break it up.
I'm sure you've googled Dr.k for biofilm. Have a look at planethrive.com. The autism protocol talks about the items I mentioned for biofilm.

Don't forget Nattokinase. It's also a biofilm buster.

And lumbrokinase. I remember hearing it was better than nattokinase, but I'm not positive.
And, don't forget, don't buy supplements with magnesium stearate (or other similar flow agents/fillers) as they contribute to biofilms.

I believe enzymes must be enteric-coated so they do not dissolve in the stomach. You want them absorbed into the bloodstream to be effective against biofilm colnies throughout the body.

In a previous post about mag. stearate, etc., someone added to the post other fillers/flow agents to avoid. Here's the list:

I am already taking that, but I know Mag is very important. Just wondering why some of those ingredients are bad for you?
Thank you!

I just ordered the Wobenzym...do you find it to be effective for biofilms?
I was just looking at that list and maybe those ingrediants have gluten, yeast or dairy in them? Just a thought!

I would recommend high dose vitamin C to cut mucous and aid in combatting infections.
Echinacea asks the body's t-cells to come to the rescue and tackle bugs of many kinds, viruses and bacteria alike. It's also a wonderful lymphatic cleanser. Take safely for ten days then take a break, start again, etc.
Usnea is a natural anti-biotic, take alongside echinacea, goldenseal and vitamin C.
Grapefruit seed extract as disinfectant.
Berberine-containing herbs like goldenseal, barberry, oregon grape root could help as disinfectants.
Amla fruit (Ayurvedic) is the highest known source of vitamin C and bioflavonoids, one fruit contains 700 mg of vit C according to Dr Linda Rector Page in her book, Healthy Healing ! This is often paired up as a formula known as "triphala" in Ayurvedic medicine, this aims at digestion. Keep in mind that the digestive lining is the body' s first immune defense so to help digestion is also to aid immunity, if there is digestive lining break-down as in leaky gut syndrome.
Health Force Nutritional Truly Natural Vitamin C can be taken in very large doses with no toxicity, it is powdered acerola cherry. I would take this throughout the day to bowel tolerance, initially to help clear up biofilms and then less of it as maintenance thereafter. Alongside echinacea and goldenseal this could help.
Drink TONS Of water to thin mucous. Steam with chamomile tea, it contains anti-inflammatory bisabolol and is mildly anti-microbial. This aids mucous removal from the lungs, and the lining of the lungs also are part of the immune barrier, along with the linings of the digestive tract and other organs.

Some time back, I did quite a bit of research on "systemic enzymes"--ones you take on an empty stomach to help clean out the blood vessels, etc.
The one I found that was most cost-effective was Vitalzyme, which is a mixture of several different enzymes.
I also took Lumbrokinase, at the request of my LLMD, for about 6 months. He told me that it is used to reverse strokes and has the best penetration into the brain to clean out any choked blood vessels in that area.
For hypercoagulation, I found that Rechts-Regulat was the BEST. It may also work on biofilms.
As for Vitamin C, the best is to make your own from organic citrus peels! Leave the white stuff on them, and any membrane, cut them into small strips/pieces, and let them dry in your kitchen on a plate or screen. Then, when they break easily, grind them up in a coffee grinder. (I have an electric one that I use for this and flax seeds, etc., not for coffee.) A rounded teaspoon gives you the Vit C for the day, plus all the bioflavinoids and pectin, etc. I keep the ground up stuff in a lidded jar.
Hope this helps!
Best,
Cass A
I'm now using this in my daily fiber drink, with good results so far.

BTW Flavenzym has the same formula as Wobenzym, but cheaper.

I thought bolouke was supposed to be better and better researched than Natto?

richedie,
Don't know the answer to that about Bolouke. Just sharing what my doctor has me on. He tested me and this is what he felt I'd respond best to. While I'm not totally better yet, I'm far better than I was one year ago prior to his treatment protocol.
