My question is what is causing these headaches and neck aches im at my end this headache is going on 2 weeks i also have blury vision. Ive had mri etc I have positive lyme test etc anyone else have this constant headache over eyes and neck pain that just wont go away. I have been dealing with this for 20 years on and off mostly on, and I have not died yet but my life is horrible with these headaches just above my nose.

Before my lyme diagnosis I had two years straight of daily headaches that never went away.

Many times it would radiate down my neck.

The neurologist thought my neck pain was causing my headaches.

With these headaches often I would get severe facial pain/pressure only down the left side of my face.

It felt like someone beat my facial bones with a hammer and crushed them.

I still get this facial pain, in fact, it reared it's ugly head two days ago after not experiencing in over a month.

I was told migraine w/o aura, though I rarely experienced nausea.

The only thing that would ease them was Excedrin for Migraines which then led to rebound headaches.

I saw a neurologist and had an MRI of the brain and MRA of the neck vessels-all clear.

A CT sinuses revealed a small defect that I was told would not cause pain.

Out of the blue one day the daily headache disappeared.

Are you treating for the lyme? I've had headaches my whole life, they suck. I've rarely had one in the last 4 months. I no longer use any artificial sweeteners and I am on Zithromax (last 4 months). Maybe once you've gotten rid of the lyme and the coinfections, you'll have better luck. I know a lady who no longer has migraines after giving up meat.

Had untreated Lyme for many years. But those constant headache - 24/7 began around last November, at which time I began 2.5 month of Doxy, which did nothing. Just changed to Zithromax and Omnicef and after two wks I think the headaches are finally going away.

Beagle--thank goodness something is helping you.

Louis2--have you ever tried homeopathics? My MIL gave me a small bottle of Headache remedy. Small little pill you desolve under your tongue Worth a shot.

Is it a headache you have, or is it really head pain? There is a difference.
