I've taken the Zhang Artemisia for three weeks. Not sure if it's really done anything for me, but my LLMD recommeded it. My guess is that Mepron is more effective, but may have more side effects. The Zhang Artemisia has not caused any side effects or herxes to speak of.

I thought you needed them both. I'm on Zith, Mepron and then added Artemisia in month 3.

My husband has never had a conclusive positive babs test, but has a clinical diagnosis.
Malarone seems to have helped.
After 5+ years of treatment, his new LLMD added Pure Encapsulations brand Artemisia. He noticed a difference literally overnight--less brain fog and "toxic buildup" in the morning. So now he is taking both Malarone and Artemesia.
I believe that Buhner says that with Artemesia, you don't have to worry about building up treatment resistance.
