Is it possible to have what I believe may be my first real herx after a month and a half of the same oral abx? Im taking mepron, azithromycin, bactrum, and nystatin.
Began treatment in October and am on my second combination oral abx protocol. I have definitely had ups and downs but I kept thinking that I wasnt herxing like people had described.
Recently started getting bad headaches (usually hurts in specific areas of head), pressure in head, slight elevation in fever (was usually around 96.5, now around 98.5), pains inside abdomen (feels like a lot of bubbling and rumbling), and joint/muslce/bone pain (i cant tell the difference). Neurological symptoms intensified as well (tremors, involuntary movements, eye issues, etc)
Before this I didnt ever really feel worse from the drugs. I actually felt slightly better for a while. My symptoms were still happening just a little less often.
Do people never herx until a few months into treatment? Is it possible to feel slightly better and then all of a sudden crash and herx?

Sounds a little like what I went through earlier this week. 7 weeks of abx with mostly steady improvement then about 3 days like a zombie, ultra bad vision and dimmed hearing. Pre-treatment symptoms that did not come back were the headaches, involuntary nerve jolts.

Also make sure youre taking a good Probiotic, like Florastor, helps with stomach issues .
took me months to have a real hard true herx but, also have small ones after one dose of a new Abx.
