Does anyone get that as a side effect? I am debating switching from IV doxy to IV Rocephin. I did IM rocephin and it made me dizzy/mild vertigo just as other cephalospins have. Is that just a herx from Lyme or is it a side effect of the drug?
Thank you everyone,
Kuda

Why don't you incorporate an oral cephalosporin abx like Ceftin with the IV doxy first and see how you tolerate it. Start at a low dose and see if you start experiencing those symptoms. It would be much easier to control a response to an oral abx before attempting the IV Rocephin.

I took 1 month of Ceftin and gave the same results as it is in the cephlaspoin family... Thanks for writing!
