I just completed a course of chelation. My lead levels on the inital challenge test were very high.

My LLMD recommended chelation to see if it would get me past a rather long plateau.

So far, it seems to have helped me get from about 50% where I was stuck for two years, to 85%+, where I have been for about 8 weeks now.

I am about to get the lead levels checked again and presumably then my LLMD will decide if another round of chelation is needed.

I am pleased with the results so far.

Pippi that's awesome. What type of chelation are you doing? How long have you been doing it?

I also had super high lead levels. I did 7 weeks of IV EDTA (once per week) and didn't notice any improvement. My doc originally said I would need 30 weeks of treatment, but was expected at least a little improvement in 7 weeks. We switched to doing vit C IVs instead and I'm doing well with those. I'm sort of thinking I should be doing both though. I'm thinking maybe my levels were so high that 7 weeks wasn't enough.
