Could be from the lyme infections and dieoff. Are you constipated at all?
Very important to keep things moving.

It can happen, but usually gets better with treatment. It happened for my daughter and it still happens for me.. In my case it's due to anemia.. Remember that hormones are greatly affected by Lyme disease. Here is one explanation:
Dizziness The fluctuation in hormones can cause dizziness during menstruation. A loss of blood can sometimes cause hypotension, or low blood pressure, which can cause dizziness. A lack of iron as well as headaches, migraines and dehydration can all cause dizziness during menstruation. In most cases, these symptoms relate to a lowering in blood pressure. Consider these issues when trying to determine the cause of your dizziness so it can be managed.

I feel dizzy alot, sometimes I lie in bed and feel like I am falling. Don't be scared, it is normal for Lyme. Talk to your Dr. about it, and maybe get your iron levels checked. lululymemom had some great info there.

I get that feeling too when I'm menstruating. For me, it would feel like I was floating outside my body, or sometimes just plain dizzyness, but bad. I used to always think it was a blood pressure issue, until I finally decided to try a supplement with iron, just to eliminate causes. My iron has never tested low, but I thought, what the heck.
Well, it seems to help! So far I have only gone through one menstrual cycle, but I was dizzy, then stopped being dizzy once I started this supplement. Supposedly this brand is the best, and won't make you constipated like some iron supplements do. It's called Mega Food Blood Builder. I got mine at www.vitacost.com (cheapest there).
If you scroll down on this link, there is a bottle with only 30 tablets, so you could just try it. The 60 bottle says it's capsules, but that is a misprint. They are all tablets. They are not too big to swallow though.
I'm not saying this is definitely the cause for you, but it's definitely worth a shot, that it's low iron or something low in the blood.

Didn't you say on another thread that you stopped birth control recently? That will alter your flow quite a bit, while your body adjusts to the hormone changes. Even as it is, womens flow is always changing from month to month... try not to worry too much..

Yes, because this is the first my period is coming back since i stopped the birth control

Nicole, I have this so often and it scares me to the point I am afraid to go our alone. All I can do is prop up on pillows and stay in bed, sometimes for days.
I too am of balance at times. These weird feelings as I call them sends my anxiety through the roof.
Xanax helps take the edge off . Meds are not causing mine nor my hormones as I have neither.
This was one of my first symptoms with lyme was vertigo attacks,if that is what I have. Read my post on my doctor's phone consult.
I do hope you find an answer soon. As this is misery. Could it be a herx reaction to the abx?

You are right, it is due to hormone shifts related to discontinuing the oral contraceptives, your pituitary is trying to readjust since it was previously compensated for an artificially manipulated cycle. Dizzy sensation of movement should subside as your period progresses, but the symptom ma return with the next cycle. IMHO.
