Hello all,

I try to informed and well read about my Lyme disease, but something new is going on and i'm having difficulty finding someone describe the same thing.

Occasionally I experience back spasms that travel to my rib cage and then it will seem as though my chest is being squeezed. While this symptom is really painful, fortunately the spasms and squeezing would stop after a couple of minutes.

Today it happened again only this time the squeezing that originated in my back, then forward towards my chest, and then continued up my throat and neck. I was pretty rattled because it felt like my throat was closing.

Only other new symptom over the last few months has been a constant feeling that my body is vibrating.

Has anyone had these types of spasms affecting their throats or breathing?

Thanks for reading my post
Vreni

I have had a few seizure-like episodes. One of them all my muscles in my chest, back, face, and neck went into spasm. Very scary, could barely even talk. Lasted about 15 minutes. I know another lymie who had a similar episode.

Welcome to LymeLand.

Lymetoo I tested positive for Lyme antibody but no active infection and no confections. It seems that my case is that at an unknown time I contracted Lyme and it was never discovered until I had a uveitis event. My symptoms are largely neurological. After it felt as if my throat was closing, I tried to find some medical literature on this symptom and individual experiences as well but not finding much.

Paulieinct I'm sorry for your seizures, but your post was thought provoking because I've had countless migraines and occasionally ocular seizures that will sometimes rupture a vein in an eye. I'm going to do some reading on seizures again, thank you for your post.
