I've done 9 months of bactrim/zith, months of malarone/zith but I can knock it down-not kill it.
If you beat babesia-what were some treatment options?

Here's an interesting blog that discusses herxes related to Babesia. I think there some good information that can be gleaned from reading what this LLMD says.
There's also some very interesting information below where people make comments. Worth reading.

There are tons of threads on this. But I'll bite.
I took many many rounds of clindamycin/quinine and also took Bactrim and malarone. Not at the same time, I don't think. (many years ago!)
What finally finished it off .. and I think .. worked the BEST was artemisinin and zith. I only had to take that for 2 months or so and I was DONE!
Now... since I took all the other stuff .. we don't REALLY know what knocked out the babs. But if I were doing it over .. I would BEGIN with art and zith.

Lymetutu, how much zith, how much art, and how often per day/week for each one? Babesia is killing me. Thx.
