Okay, so I started on Ceftin about 4 weeks ago, and on Malarone almost 2 weeks ago. My last "time of the month" was about the same time as I started the Malarone.

So now I'm into the ovulation stage, and while I often do have some discomfort--yeah, sometimes actual pain--this month it is horrendous!

It started this evening, and I thought I had a combo of throqing my back out and maybe coming down with a stomach bug, till I realized what time of the month it was.

I guess my question is, had anyone else had expereinces with either of these meds messing with their cycles? Or is this just a random bad month?

BTW, if it matters, I just turned 42.

Starfall,
I'm in the same boat. I am having a period every ten days also with cramping no fun.

not sure which med is causing it. The gyn said she could run some tests and see if it's hormones.

I personally think it's the mepron causing this for me. However, not sure.

Hang in there. Janice

Thanks Janice.

Pain is gone today--at least that pain--but feeling horrible otherwise.

Today was my teaching day with the homeschool co-op, and I felt all day like I was going to pass out, just weird feeling.

And my joints felt weird. like of you sit all cramped up for a long tiime and then try to stand.

Don't know if that has anything to do with the fainty feeling or not.
