Take your antibiotics. (I say this in all seriousness, not being sarcastic or rude).
If you ask your doctor they may also prescribe an anti-inflammatory med to help relieve pain. OTC anti-inflammatory options are ibuprofen and naproxen.
Some supplements can help like fish oil and curcumin. There are others but my mind is drawing a blank.
Warm baths and warm compresses can help too.
