Me! In fact last night I was just thinking about how I wish I could reverse this so I could feel better during the day.

Some speculations are that it has to do with your adrenals/cortisol production.

Other than that I have no other ideas as to why this happens. I know people have mentioned this before though so it seems to be common.

Sick since 10/2001. Tested CDC positive for Lyme 10/2008 through Quest and Igenex. Started treatment 1/2009 with LLMD. Lyme, Erichilosis, Chlamydophila Pneumoniae, Q Fever, Strep Syndrome and probably a few others I am forgetting.

me too! Always so much worse first half of the day. From around 5:00 PM seems to improve slightly throughout the night.

Seems that with regular illnesses, such as flu or other virus's people always feel worse at night and that is when fevers are high.

Strange.

I think it's adrenal dysfunction...cortisol for me is always lower in the am but I balance out in the evening.

Yup..Mac Truck syndrome I use to and at times still call it.

May have to do with disrupted sleep patterns? Lowered body temp. which lyme loves?

As I have gotten better some mornings I feel like a "normal" human being.

On those morning when I feel off, I get scared that I am going downhill but lately by mid morning feel good again.

I'm the opposite, not that I feel good in the morning either, but night time is the worst for me, pain increases and anxiety is bad.

I feel like I am dragging and hurting all over when I wake up..dizzy etc.

I feel best when sitting on the couch in the evenings watching tv. Not dizzy anymore and the pain is almost all gone..Why? No clue...but I will take it!

Feel worse in am but I think it's because the cold exacerbates the pain and the way I sleep-fetal position cause more pain in my arms and hands-where the pain has been for the past year. I found that if I turn off the ceiling fan, it helps with am pain, but not with night sweats.

I feel much better in the mornings. Dr. H told me that if you feel worse in the mornings it could be a toxin issue, meaning you need to detox. If you feel better in the morning, it's probably the disease itself that gets worse in the evening.

Just a theory.

Feeling bad upon awakening, or even waking up in the middle of the night, is often caused due to the fact that our killing/detoxing is taking place in the early morning hours (gallbladder / liver) from 11 PM to 3 AM and beeing flooded with toxins. This is where the important job of taking binders all through the day and before going to bed comes in.

Stick with taking binders half hour before every meal and again before going to bed. You will gradually start feeling better upon awakening.

Unless you start taking binders religiously, feeling better won't happen very easily. The toxins that are put into circulation with any of the killing agents and/or detox agents will be reabsorbed, recirculated and redeposited who knows where.

Neurotoxins = dead proteins, toxic metals, chemicals = feel just as miserable the second time around as the first time. Don't go to bed unless you have loaded up on binders. Learn to test with a pendulum or tensor to find which one your body prefers at the moment. It changes at least daily.

An overloaded vacuum will do the same thing - it will pick up the dust, sort of, and blow it out the back.........

And pulling the fuses and having no electrical and metal equipment in your bedroom is important. Get toxic moldy books out of the bedroom - old rugs - old blankets/pillows ----
remove all clutter and mold that snuck in somewhere (old leak...)

You will sleep better and you will feel better when you wake up.

And if you have never treated parasites, you may want to check that out. Parasites get very busy at night, especially approaching full moon when they again will multiply in big numbers. Scrape your tongue in the morning and have a look at what you are moving around. I use a small coffee spoon with a thin edge.

A quote from Dr.K.'s neurotoxin elimination protocol:

"I have found that mercury in its different chemical forms has a synergistic amplifying effect with all other neurotoxins. When mercury is removed, the body starts to more effectively eliminate all other neurotoxins, even if they are not addressed."

Take care.

I actually do take binders several times during the day as well as right before bed but I still feel worse during the day than I do at night. OH and I have been doing coffee enemas off and on.

So for me I would lean towards it being an adrenal issue rather than a toxin issue. My adrenal saliva test was a bit off so I need to address this better than I have been.
