i was thinking of going to Dr J for a 2nd opinion. I see his pts only take meds MWF, 3 out of 4 weeks.
How many of you pulse, and who takes their meds non-stop? I think high dose pulsing is becoming more popular

Great question
I have done both. Early on I did full time and then went to pulse too soon and relapsed.
After about...6 years of off and on tx including IV with the paast year of full time low dose I am now on a pulse schedule and doing great.
4 days on and 3 days off. My body seems to be responding very well to pusling and my immune system seems to be waking up and doing some work on its own - which is one of the goals of pusling.
Another benefit for me has been a decrease in yeast issues doing pulse tx.

Non-stop for me, but that is mostly for babesia, and that shouldn't be pulsed (per Dr. B's guidelines).

After 2 1/2 years of continuous abx, I am now taking one day off every week. On that day I only take probiotics, LDN, some supplements. I will probably be increasing this to two days a week.
Furthermore, on my ON days, I pulse my antibiotics thusly: zith and penicilin on MTW, and zith, omnicef and fluconazole on TFS.
I am hoping to eventually get to taking abx three days/wk, with four days off.

Haven't started IV, but the plan is that when I do it will be two days a week... so I am also interested in more replies to this question and especially anyone on fewer days.
It seems like most who pulse do 3 or 4 days/week and I'm wondering if 2 days/week will have any benefit at all.
Also, when you pulse, do those days have to be in a row?

I tried it last June on my own when I was feeling better. I was on Bactrim DS and zithro. I was taking three days off, four days on.
I plunged in one month and could not regain momentum. I went to an LLMD who put me on Mepron/zithro and have been on it continuously since late November.
