My igenex testing is igm 31++, 34+, 41++, 83-93 ind. Igg 31 ind, 34 ind, 41 ++. Natural killer is 7. C4a is over 21,000. I've read that 39 is lyme. What about the others? What does ind mean? What is the difference between Igg and igm? Thanks.

My IGG was 30,+, 34+ and 41++. IGM 18+, 23-25 IND,and 41 IND.. My doc says lyme .. everything else is negative even Bart and Babs..
Waiting for answers too. Oh my doc told me what IND meant I think it meant inconclusive ..not sure.I think igg is old infection and Igm in recent.. again not sure.
Are you taking any meds? My doc wants to help build my immune system and lower inflammation before stating abx. I get so confused to much for me to process.
Also gluten free, dairy free and sugar free diet.

Great website. Thanks. I wonder why I have more igms than iggs. Since it's chronic you would think it was the reverse. I also held off on antibiotics to strengthen my immune system. Did either of you had a c4a done?

hi, my doc told me recently that if you were only igm then it meant recent/early, but if after treatment you stayed igm and did not go igg then it meant the infection was present for a longer time
Waiting for my after treatment results in the mail, was told today I am "normal"

My daughter had a c4a done.. Hers was in the 6000 range.. Still out of normal range. If you do a search on here you will find some as high as 50,000.. It does go down with treatment. I don't think you should worry about it.
"With most infections, your immune system first forms IgM antibodies, then in about 2 to 4 weeks, you see IgG antibodies. In some infections, IgG antibodies may be detectable for years.
Because Borrelia burgdorferi is a chronic persistent infection that may last for decades, you would think patients with chronic symptoms would have positive IgG Western blots.
But actually, more IgM blots are positive in chronic borreliosis than IgG. Every time Borrelia burgdorferi reproduces itself, it may stimulate the immune system to form new IgM antibodies.
Some patients have both IgG and IgM blots positive. But if either the IgG or IgM blot is positive, overall it is a positive result.
Response to antibiotics is the same if either is positive, or both."
