I am considering starting HBOT for my daughter. She has never had symptoms of babesia but since I have been considering this treatment, I am now a little nervous about one of her latest symptoms.
She is sweating profusely throughout the day. Her hands, feet, and armpits just drip with sweat. It is so awful for her.
She has had problems with sweaty hands for a long time, but the rest has just started in the last few weeks.
She is fifteen years old and has been on oral antibiotic therapy for one year.
Should I be worried that this could be babesia? She is currently being treated for bartonella. She is clinically diagnosed with it. I haven't done the co-infection panel, but I plan to do that when she goes back to the LLMD in May.
Any thoughts??

Babs should definitely be up for consideration IMO.
My Babesia titers and FISH all came back positive for duncani when I was tested. I have had and continue to have day sweats something fierce at times.

This is interesting, because my undiagnosed daughter sweats much more than anyone I know. DS, has Bart, Lyme, Babs, Myco and RMSF. Can Babs be congenital???

Is there a possibility of mercury in either of your daughters? Moms... did you have amalgams? Or have they had any flu shots or vaccines with thimerosal?
One of the symptoms of mercury illness is the inability to regulate sweating which can manifest as either sweating profusely or not sweating at all.

@momlyme. I have alalgams but my daughter doesn't. She has not had ANY shots in about ten years but she did have all of her shots before that time.
Could mercury poisoning manifest that many years later? This symptom has just started getting really bad in the last month or so.
Prior to this past month, she has had trouble with her hands sweating pretty bad. I think it started around puberty.
