Anyone know why some take malarone, some take mepron? Is either better for ducani or microti?

If you search this one up you find alot of information on this.

Malarone is a combination drug. It has Mepron in it but in a much smaller quantity.

Some people feel that one works better on duncani than others.

In general duncani seems a bit harder to get rid of.

I have duncani and have treated with both for a prolonged period of time.

I would say that it is individual. The most important thing is that you treat for a good amount of time. Keep at it.

I have ducani-my LLMD feels malarone is better. I beat it into submission with bactrim/zith, but it's baaack. Now taking malarone/zith and ART. Didn't take ART before-maybe that was my mistake
