I had the same problem...my LLMD said to take "Gaviscon" for the
acid reflux like symptoms...it is available OTC in pharmacies...
it is an antacid...but read the ingredients to see if it suits you...
I prefer natural remedies...but it did work for me...
I also took the doxy during meals and that helped...

You need to drink a ton of water - before the pill - with the pill - and off and on all day!
That should take care of the pain...
