Someone suggested for me to drink water with a tablespoon of baking soda. It has helped me before. Good luck and hang in there.

Nicole, hang in there. Take another bath NOW. Are you taking binders? These reactions are good. It has to get worse before it gets better. Oh sweety I am so sorry you are suffering. Will keep you in my prayers today!

You really should try the burbur I was telling you about. It lessens the herxes and you can use it every 10 minutes as needed..
If this med becomes unbearable to tolerate you can switch to something else. My daughter was told to stay on Doxy when it was keeping her bedridden and only got better after she switched to Ceftin.
I should also say that some have gotten on the Cowden protocol free for six months. Burbur is part of that protocol. This is what I have read:
Nutramedix does provide one patient per doctor with six months of free Cowden protocol.
If interested, it's probably best to contact Nutramedix to know if it's still available.

Lemon water and yes, baking soda and water.

Sorry, just found out that Nutramedix just offers financial assistance for those who want to try the cowden protocol as of 2009. You would have to fill out forms and must show financial need.

Nicole, we don't live in your shoes... We really don't know the level of discomfort you are having. I do know that herxes should not be long lasting and you should be getting some benefit afterwards.
My daughter was encouraged to stay on the Doxy when it was causing damage that may now be irrepairable.. Her cardio told her this.
So what I am saying is you are your best judge. Trust your instincts..
