I have had no problems w/ Rifampin (have been on it for 3 months) to treat Bart while also on Ceftin and Flagyl. Haven't been on Bactrim so can't compare the two. Good luck.

Bactrim in a heartbeat...but it doesn't work nearly as well.

It's good to see people find Bactrim more tolerable than Rifampin. I'm about to start Bactrim soon.
I tolerated Rifampin well too though.

Thanks for the replies.
Abdominal pain heel pain ice pick in my forehead anxiety back pain
These are my main symptoms and the pain is off the charts.
Would you say it's Bart?
Here's something interesting....My very first abx was Doxycycline and I was on that almost 6 weeks. During that time, the abdominal pain and back pain went waaaaay down. ( Didn't have the heel pain at that time ).
Then, I was switched to Omnicef and Zith which I am still on. I don't think these two are doing squat, to be honest.
Over time, the abdominal pain and back pain came roaring back, and now I have the heel pain, too.
Does Doxy hit Bart??????
