1st Annual International Virtual Walk for Lyme Disease -- May 15th Raise awareness and find a cure for Lyme and tick-borne diseases
Turn the Corner Foundation (TTC) is proud to announce the 1st Annual International Virtual Walk to Turn the Corner on Lyme, Sunday, May 15th in honor of Lyme Disease Awareness Month. This unique Virtual Walk allows participants to join together, each in their own community, on the same day to raise awareness about Lyme and tick-borne diseases.
The first 500 people to sign-up with a donation of $35 or more will get a free Walk t-shirt. Participants are encouraged to wear the Virtual Walk to Turn the Corner on Lyme t-shirt on May 15th, take a picture, and upload the photo onto Turn the Corner's website to be featured in the Together We Face Lyme pages. Money raised from the Walk will support Turn the Corner Foundation's new campaign to raise public awareness about Lyme disease and tick-borne diseases, on-going research projects, and the Physician's Training Program, which provides medical practitioners the opportunity to study with a Lyme-literate health care professional.
